Aviva Studios is one of the most ambitious cultural venues in the UK, and a building unlike any other to put a gig into. After working across multiple productions in the venue, including WOMEX 2024, RxTx was brought in to help shape how live music would be delivered there.
From November 2024 to December 2025, we worked across 30 live shows: advancing artists and their productions, planning how each show would work in the building, and supporting delivery on the night.
Making a new venue work for live music
From guitar bands to a techno rave to a spoken-word show, every event asked something different of the building. A space this new doesn't come with a rulebook, and each show helped refine how it works for touring artists and audiences alike, from load-in to doors to curfew. The result was a live programme with a clear, consistent way of working, ready for whatever the venue programmes next. Built for live.
