WOMEX, the Worldwide Music Expo, brings together artists and performances from across the globe. For its 2024 edition in Manchester, RxTx delivered technical production management at Factory International, overseeing three stages within the venue.
Working closely with WOMEX Production Director Helen Gorton, we helped bring the festival to life in a new and uniquely configured performance space, where each stage had to be planned, advanced and run in its own right.
Three stages, one venue
Over three days, more than thirty artists performed in a fast-moving, multi-stage environment, with each stage keeping its own rhythm, its own audience and its own moment. Keeping all three running smoothly, side by side in one building, is what technical production management is for. Built for live.
